Highmark Caring Place is seeking an Outreach and Education Coordinator to spread the word about vital services and engage grieving children, families, and professionals through compassionate care, programs, and connections. Based in Warrendale, PA, this role focuses on relationship building, presenting impactful information, and inspiring communities to participate in our mission.

Qualifikationen

• Master's degree in psychology, social work, counseling, child development, or related field.
• 3 years working with children in a mental health setting.
• Experience with therapy/support groups and grieving families.
• Public speaking and/or training experience.

Aufgaben

• Plan and implement facility based peer support sessions for grieving children and their families.
• Plan and implement school-based support groups for grieving students.
• Develop volunteer program including recruitment, training, recognition, and retention components.
• Develop outreach and education strategy to generate family participants, volunteers and school partnerships, and community partnerships.
• Conduct thorough assessments to determine family's level of appropriateness for the Caring Place program and/or need for other community services.
• Other duties as assigned or requested.
