Job summary

HopeWest in Grand Junction, CO seeks an Administrative Assistant for Kids Bereavement, Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm. You will provide essential administrative support for the Adult Bereavement function, coordinate activities, maintain records, and assist with scheduling and communications.

This role serves as the first contact for clients seeking grief support and works with Leadership and staff across departments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3–5 years of administrative experience; healthcare/human services setting preferred.
• Valid Colorado driver’s license with reliable transportation and adequate auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support for the Adult Bereavement function.
• Coordinate program activities and maintain accurate records and reporting.
• Support scheduling and communication within the department.
• Serve as a first point of contact for clients, families, volunteers, and community members.
• Collaborate with Bereavement leadership and other HopeWest departments.
