Job summary

1898 & Co., part of Burns & McDonnell, is seeking a Grid Systems - Consultant to perform hands-on technical consulting and system integration within electric utility OT environments. You will configure, test, and implement grid management systems and supporting technologies across multiple locations, including Dallas, TX.

You will collaborate with architects, engineers, cybersecurity specialists, and project managers to ensure solutions meet architectural and operational standards, while

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 3 years of relevant experience required.
• Demonstrated enterprise system implementation skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Ability to analyze OT system data and workflows.

Responsibilities

• Execute technical consulting and system integration activities for grid and OT platforms.
• Configure, test, and support deployment of grid management systems within utility OT environments.
• Implement and validate advanced distribution applications (power flow, state estimation, FLISR, VVO, DER integration).
• Perform system configuration, data validation, and troubleshooting.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation and interfaces.
