1898 & Co., part of Burns & McDonnell, seeks a Grid Systems Consultant to perform hands-on consulting and system integration in electric utility OT environments. The role focuses on configuring, testing, and implementing grid management platforms and supporting technologies.

You will execute technical workstreams, support go-live activities, and contribute to proposal efforts while collaborating with architects, engineers, and cybersecurity specialists. Location includes US locations with travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, engineering, or a related field.
• 3 years of relevant experience required.
• Demonstrated enterprise system implementation skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail, facilitation, team building, collaboration, organization and problem-solving skills.

Responsabilités

• Execute technical consulting and system integration activities for grid and OT platforms, including configuration, testing, and support of grid management systems (SCADA, OMS, DMS, ADMS, DERMS).
• Implement and validate advanced distribution applications such as power flow, state estimation, FLISR, VVO, and DER integration.
• Perform system configuration, parameter tuning, and data validation to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Analyze OT system data and workflows to identify issues and support optimization.
• Conduct testing, commissioning, cutover activities, and go-live support.
• Develop technical documentation: configuration guides, test scripts, interface docs, operational materials.
• Collaborate with solution architects, engineers, cybersecurity specialists, and PMs to ensure aligned implementations.
