Job summary

Burns & McDonnell, in partnership with 1898 & Co., seeks an Analyst to support grid system and OT integration engagements for electric utility clients. This early‑career role builds technical depth in grid operations, utility systems, and enterprise/OT implementations.

You will collaborate with Consultants and Architects on analysis, testing, documentation, and configuration tasks, contributing to reliability, data validation, and successful system deployment across projects.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, computer science, MIS, or related field; degree may be substituted by experience.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work methodically and analytically in a quantitative problem-solving environment with critical thinking.
Internship or related consulting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Support configuration, testing, and deployment of grid management systems.
Assist with data validation and basic analysis of outputs.
Document requirements, data collection, notes and test results.
Collaborate with consultants, architects, engineers, and cybersecurity team members.
Participate in client meetings, workshops, and working sessions.
Assist with project tracking, coordination, and status updates as directed by managers.
