• Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in assessing the viability of distributed technology and interconnection projects
• Collaborate with utilities, manufacturers, engineering, IT, and standards departments on DER applications
• Understand data streams needed to model grid impacts
• Meet with stakeholders to understand issues and inform grid impacts
• Explore, innovate, and demonstrate technologies for easier grid integration
• Identify when DER provides benefits to customers and the grid
• Represent PG&E as technical expert in regulatory proceedings and industry groups
• Develop and implement new standards and guidelines with Distribution Standards Department
