Job summary

Ledgent Technology in Minnesota seeks an Operational Technology Systems Administrator to support grids and modernization efforts. You will manage OT platforms, coordinate updates, and collaborate with engineering, operations, and cybersecurity to ensure reliable, secure real-time utility operations.

The role emphasizes OT/IT integration, vendor collaboration, and project execution in a highly available environment. A strong background in SCADA/ADMS and reporting tools is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering Technology, or a related field with 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field with 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience supporting operational technology, industrial systems, critical infrastructure technologies, or enterprise applications in a production environment.
• Experience working with business users, operations teams, engineers, or technical stakeholders.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support critical OT platforms used to monitor and maintain utility operations.
• Monitor system performance, availability, and health to ensure reliable operations.
• Troubleshoot issues and perform root cause analysis for OT environments.
• Coordinate software updates, patches, and maintenance activities.
• Collaborate with vendors and SMEs to resolve production issues.
• Participate in an on-call rotation for business-critical systems.
• Configure and optimize OT applications to meet requirements.
• Support testing, validation, and deployment of new functionality.
• Maintain technical documentation and configuration records.
• Lead or contribute to modernization initiatives in grid management and DERMS.
