Job summary

1898 & Co. is seeking an Analyst to support grid system and OT integration engagements for electric utility clients.

This early‑career role develops technical depth in grid operations, utility systems, and enterprise/OT implementations. You will work with Consultants and Architects on analysis, testing, documentation, and configuration support across grid modernization programs, with exposure to SCADA, OMS, DMS, and DERMS.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and basic computer skills in implementation software.
• Able to work methodically and analytically in a quantitative problem‑solving environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with configuration, testing, and deployment of grid management systems (SCADA, OMS, DMS, ADMS, DERMS).
• Support data validation, quality checks, and basic analysis of system outputs.
• Contribute to testing, documentation, and root cause analysis under guidance of senior staff.
• Support requirements gathering, data collection, and creation of technical notes and user guides.
• Collaborate with consultants, architects, engineers, and cybersecurity team members on integrated grid solutions.
