Job summary

Burns & McDonnell is seeking a Project Delivery Manager in California to lead an execution team within Transmission Planning & Power Systems Analysis and Utility Investment Planning. You will guide staff development, ensure project excellence, and align with company goals and values while delivering high-quality consulting services for utility clients.

You will collaborate with managing directors and line leads to optimize staffing, ensure profitability, and pursue new work opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and 5+ years of experience are required.
• Demonstrated leadership and/or management experience is preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills with ability to present complex information to all levels.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership to a consultants/analysts team on projects.
• Manage staff utilization, workload, and QA/QC for engagements.
• Collaborate with PMs and directors to meet financial targets and secure new work.
