Job summary

Eversource Energy is seeking a Lead Engineer for Grid Operations Technology to guide multi-disciplinary teams through the lifecycle of grid modernization projects. You will drive design, planning, and implementation while coordinating with IT, engineering, and planning stakeholders.

Responsibilities include overseeing VVO, FLISR, BESS and related advanced applications, managing budgets and schedules, and communicating progress to executives and regulators.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Engineering Technology required; MS in Engineering or MBA preferred.
• Minimum of eight years' experience in electrical utility engineering; supervisory experience preferred.
• Thorough understanding of power system concepts and modeling tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-disciplinary teams through project life cycles from conception to execution and verification.
• Oversee grid modernization programs including VVO, FLISR, BESS and other advanced applications.
• Prepare reports and presentations for stakeholders and secure approvals.
