Job summary

WSP is seeking a Mid-Level Grid Modernization Engineer for our Boise, ID office, with consideration for Denver, CO; Kansas City, MO; or Redmond, WA. Be part of the Distribution Advanced Studies Team and help modernize utility distribution systems through programs like FLISR, Volt-Var optimization, ADMS, and electrification.

The role involves interacting with diverse stakeholders, leading analytical projects, and presenting data through tables, charts, and reports.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
5 to 7 years of post-education experience as an electrical engineer.
Ability to work across teams and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

Modernize utility distribution systems, including planning and ongoing support of Distribution Grid Modernization Programs.
Lead and perform engineering tasks on complex projects with specialized knowledge.
Prepare data visualizations and presentations for findings and analyses.
Track project schedules and budgets and collaborate across disciplines.
Participate in industry groups and conferences; travel may be required.
