Job summary

Southern California Edison is seeking a Grid Interconnection & Contracts Development Advisor in Pomona, CA to manage a portfolio of interconnection requests from application through termination. You will negotiate interconnection agreements, coordinate with engineering and other stakeholders, and ensure data accuracy across internal systems.

Qualifications

Seven or more years of experience negotiating contracts or agreements.
Experience negotiating interconnection contracts for power grid projects is preferred.

Responsibilities

Manages a portfolio of standard interconnection requests for SCE’s transmission and distribution systems.
Interfaces cross-functionally with internal partners, stakeholders, and customers throughout the interconnection lifecycle.
Leads feasibility, system impact, and facility studies, coordinating with Engineering and communicating results to customers.
Coordinates, prepares, and negotiates interconnection and related agreements including amendments.
Publishes results of studies and maintains interconnection data in internal systems.
Balances customer service with regulatory and business needs while managing risk.
