You will analyze grid impacts, develop technical solutions, and collaborate with grid operators and project developers.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems.
• 8+ years of power systems experience focused on grid integration.
• Deep understanding of grid stability, fault analysis, and power flow.
• Experience with grid simulation software: PSS/E, DIgSILENT PowerFactory, ETAP.
• Familiarity with South African grid codes is a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze the technical impact of renewable energy projects and distributed generation on the electricity grid.

• Develop and review technical studies, including grid connection studies, stability analyses, and short-circuit studies.

• Provide technical expertise and guidance on grid integration challenges and opportunities.
