Job summary

Southern California Edison (SCE) invites applications for an Inspections Advisor to advance grid reliability, wildfire mitigation, and public safety through infrared and corona inspection programs across distribution and transmission assets. The role partners with contractors, Air Operations, engineering, and field teams to coordinate inspections and ensure audit-ready documentation.

The position focuses on data-driven planning, trend analysis, and reporting to support program performance.

Qualifications

Seven or more years of experience in energy delivery and distribution.
Experience supporting electric utility distribution or transmission inspection, maintenance, reliability, wildfire mitigation, or compliance programs.
Strong data validation, reporting, and documentation skills, including audit-ready records, regulatory inputs, program summaries, or performance reports.

Responsibilities

Oversees and executes contracts and agreements in compliance with administrative instructions and regulatory requirements.
Ensures permits and easements for facilities are obtained in accordance with all relevant agencies.
Develops and implements data management practices to sustain model integrity.
Directs and coordinates transmission and distribution activities that provide energy services to customers, leading outage management, facility maintenance and capital improvements.
Obtains management approval for ongoing projects and tracks cost, scope, resources and schedules with contingency and communication plans.
Retrieves, analyzes and summarizes business, operations, customer and economic data to develop BI, optimize effectiveness and predict outcomes.
Identifies, analyzes, and interprets trends and prepares reports and visualizations to support business decisions.
Monitors budget variances and long-term budget forecasts.
Protects assets and handles sensitive data with high standards of conduct and integrity.
