Job summary

Southern California Edison (SCE) is hiring a Senior Electric System Inspector in the Integrated Inspections group of the Transmission and Distribution Operating Unit. You’ll inspect transmission and distribution assets, identify safety, reliability and environmental hazards, and leverage drone technology to enhance inspections.

Reporting to the team leads, you’ll perform annual patrols, address GO95/128 compliance, and coordinate with customers and stakeholders to resolve issues while protecting

Qualifications

• Experience inspecting electrical distribution systems and identifying safety hazards.
• Ability to operate and interpret drone-based inspections.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and company requirements.

Responsibilities

• Identify GO95 and GO128 infractions and environmental/reliability hazards.
• Perform public level repairs on poles and related structures.
• Conduct annual patrols on overhead circuits and prioritize repairs.
• Reconcile differences between actual field conditions.
• Identify and evaluate hazardous conditions and unsafe work practices.
