Job summary

GRID Distribution Construction Supervisor will oversee field contract crews and promote Safety Excellence across distribution areas. The role includes coordinating storm restoration resources, managing contract administration, and ensuring quality construction while traveling statewide with a company vehicle.

The position reports to the GRID Construction Field Manager and will collaborate with Area Distribution Managers to meet customer satisfaction and reliability targets.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Extensive line construction experience in distribution.
• Experience managing contractors is preferred.
• Distribution operating experience required.
• Supervisory/leadership experience is preferred.
• Extensive Storm Restoration Experience required.
• Experience with Contract administration and execution preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the performance of field contract employees and ensure safety is prioritized across GRID distribution projects.
• Manage contractor resources, mentor diverse vendors, and allocate crew for storm/restoration work.
• Collaborate with Area Distribution Managers and Engineering Supervisors to meet customer satisfaction and reliability goals.
• Lead safety performance, improve productivity, and respond to storm events across Georgia.
