Job summary

Hyatt Regency New Orleans is hiring a Greeter at Vitascope Hall, the lively sports bar and sushi venue. As the first friendly face, you welcome guests, manage seating, and guide guests to tables while presenting menus.

You will coordinate with servers and culinary teams to ensure smooth service, handle wait times, to-go orders, and reservations. A guest-first attitude, reliability, and flexibility to work evenings and weekends are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a guest-first mindset.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Previous host/hostess or restaurant experience preferred.
• Professional appearance and positive, energetic attitude.
• Ability to stand and walk for the duration of the shift.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, game days, and holidays.
• A team-oriented approach and commitment to excellent service.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests with warmth, professionalism, and an inviting presence.
• Manage restaurant seating, waitlists, and guest flow to ensure efficient service.
