Job summary

Defined Fitness Inc. is seeking a Greet Team Manager at our Albuquerque club. You will lead the greet team, drive membership growth, and ensure exceptional member and guest experiences.

This role reports to the General Manager and requires a proactive, energetic leader with strong sales skills. Responsibilities include mentoring staff, overseeing sales initiatives, and maintaining a professional club standard. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred and CPR/AED certification within 45 days is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in business administration or related field.
• Experience in a management-level position in health, fitness, or related industry.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Must hold a NM driver’s license and have insured transportation.
• CPR/AED certification within 45 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop greet team members to drive net membership growth.
• Achieve monthly sales goals and non-member closing percentage.
• Oversee membership sales initiatives and promotions.
• Recruit, hire, train, and motivate staff; conduct weekly training sessions.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

• Timely and accurate completion of weekly deposits
• Achieve club monthly sales goals and non-member closing percentage
• Boost retail sales revenue goals including drinks, bars, etc.
• Oversee membership sales initiatives including open houses, special membership events, promotions, closeouts, etc.
• Achieve net membership growth through leading effective in-club collection efforts
• Resolve and report all incidents of inappropriate behavior being displayed
• Capture and retain details on all new membership leads
• Maintain a clean and professional presentation
• Recruit, hire, train, oversee and motivate staff into a highly functioning team
• Schedule and complete weekly training sessions with your team
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field, preferred
• Experience in a management-level position in health, fitness, or related industry
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Must hold a valid NM driver’s license (acceptable record) and means of transportation (registered and insured)
• PC literate, including Microsoft Office and various other products such as ABC and GymSales
• Valid CPR/AED certification (including infant and child) within the first 45 days of employment and maintain throughout employment
• Must be able to work weekends and/or evenings as needed

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to stand and/or walk for up to eight (8) hours at a time
• Must be able to lift and carry approximately 50 pounds
• Must be able to perform the following tasks: walk, squat, bend, stoop, stand, listen, read, and write
