Job summary

Northridgecountryclub is seeking a full-time greenskeeper to maintain the golf courses and perform horticultural tasks. Responsibilities include mowing, trimming, raking bunkers, planting, and debris removal to keep greens and surrounds in top condition.

The role requires basic landscaping experience, English communication, and the ability to start at 6:15am. Weekend mornings and holidays are required; benefits include healthcare, 401K, PTO after 90 days, and uniforms.

Qualifications

• Six months of landscaping experience or more.
• Ability to communicate in English clearly.
• Must be able to work weekend mornings and holidays.
• Familiarity with basic landscaping equipment and hand tools.
• Ability to safely operate golf carts and manual shift vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Mow and trim turf to maintain quality.
• Keep the course clean and safe for players.
• Plant and trim bushes and trees as needed.
• Spread mulch or pine straw around beds and paths.
• Rake bunkers and blow leaves/debris from fine turf.

THIS IS A FULLTIME JOB, we are not hiring part time.

As greenskeeper you are responsible for the upkeep of the golf courses including all horticultural practices. Responsibilities typically include raking bunkers, watering plants, repairing divots, trimming tee boxes, blowing leaves/debris, and mowing the course.

Responsibilities:

• maintaining cleanliness and safety of golf course

Requirements

Required Skills/Abilities:

A high attention to detail and awareness.

Ability to adequately understand and communicate in English.

Ability to work weekend mornings (every-other) and holidays (just morning).

Ability to use basic landscaping equipment and hand tools.

Ability to drive golf cart responsibly.

Ability to operate, or willingness to learn to operate, a manual shift utility vehicle responsibly.

Ability to start work at 6:15am.

Education and Experience:

Six months of landscaping experience

Physical Requirements:

Ability to frequently bend and lift.

Ability to work in all kinds of weather.

Carrying, pushing, pulling, stooping, kneeling, crouching, bending, reaching, walking long distances.
