Troon is looking for a Greenskeeper in Suffern, NY. This role is essential in maintaining the golf course's landscaping and overall appearance. Responsibilities include mowing, watering, and repairing irrigation systems, as well as applying fertilizers and pesticides.

Responsibilities

• Maintains clean and organized work areas on the golf course.
• Mows greens, approaches, fairways, rough, tees, and other areas.
• Waters tees, greens, and fairways; operates irrigation heads.
• Repairs the irrigation system as necessary.
• Grades and prepares soil base; lays sod and seeds.
• Trims and prunes hedges and shrubbery.

Job description

The Greenskeeper is a key member of the course maintenance team and is responsible for the landscaping and maintenance around the golf course.

Compensation: $15.50 / hour

Seasonal, part-time and full-time opportunities available.

Responsibilities

• Maintains clean and organized work areas on the golf course and maintenance facility
• Mows greens, approaches, fairways, rough, tees and other areas
• Waters tees, greens and fairways; operates irrigation heads in dry areas needing additional water
• Repairs the irrigation system, pipes and irrigation heads as necessary
• Grades and prepares soil base, lays sod and seeds greens, tees and fairways
• Trims and prunes hedges and shrubbery; cleans flower beds
• Applies pesticides and fertilizer to the golf course
• Performs related duties as assigned by supervisor or manager
