Job summary

Brentwood Country Club is seeking a dependable Greenskeeper to help maintain our championship golf course and surrounding grounds. This entry level position performs routine manual labor on the golf course and related maintenance tasks, operating small power hand tools and walk-behind greens mowers.

The role supports course upkeep, irrigation areas, bunkers, and landscape beds, with opportunities to learn cultural practices and equipment maintenance.

Qualifications

• Experience in landscaping, groundskeeping, or golf course maintenance preferred but not required.
• Able to lift up to 75 pounds and perform physically demanding work.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Willingness to work early mornings, weekends and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate string trimmer around greens, aprons, tees, trees and irrigation components.
• Remove debris and weeds from landscape beds and surrounding areas.
• Assist in cultural practices such as top dressing, verticutting, aerifying, fertilizing, and chemical applications.
• Rake bunkers and assist in course maintenance operations.

Brentwood Country Club is seeking a dependable, hardworking Greenskeeper to help maintain our championship golf course and surrounding grounds. The Greenskeeper 1 is an entry level position that performs routine manual labor on the golf course, performs semi-skilled labor involved in golf course maintenance and construction work; operates small power hand tools; operates walk behind greens mowers.

Duties/Responsibilities

To include but not limited to the following:

• String trimmer operation around, greens, aprons, tees, trees, irrigation components, etc.
• Removes debris, cleans, weeds landscape beds.
• Assists in cultural practices as in, top dressing, verticutting, aerifying, fertilizing, and chemical applications.
• Rakes bunkers and assists in the maintenance of
• Hand waters areas when needed.
• Maintains fuel and fluid levels in assigned equipment, and returns the equipment washed and fluids “topped off” back to the maintenance building.

Requirements

• Previous landscaping, groundskeeping, golf course maintenance, or related experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and perform physically demanding work.
• Willingness to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Valid driver's license preferred.
