Job summary

Troon is seeking a part-time Greenskeeper I for Raritan Landing Golf Course in Piscataway, NJ. You will support course maintenance to ensure a positive experience for members and guests while expanding knowledge of golf club operations.

Responsibilities include bunkers, edging, mowing, soil prep, and course-detail tasks; require a month of related experience and a valid driver's license. Benefits include healthcare, retirement, and earned sick leave.

Raritan Landing Golf Course, located in Piscataway, NJ, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a part-time Greenskeeper I! We are seeking a motivated individual who is interested in contributing to a positive experience for our members and guests while continuing to grow their knowledge of golf club operations. As an associate of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.

Compensation:

$17.50 - $18.50 per hour

Key Responsibilities of the Greenskeeper I:

• Rakes and maintains sand bunkers.
• Operates small machinery to assist with edging, trimming and mowing.
• Prepares soil beds for sod, seed and vegetative material.
• Involved with tasks related to course detail (weed and debris clean up).
• Assists with golf course set-up procedures.
• Operates utility vehicles for hauling material and removing debris.
• Performs skilled duties related to experience (pruning, plugging, etc.).
• Operates equipment safely and is aware of associates and their prospective work areas.
• Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
• Performs other duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications for the Greenskeeper I:

One month related experience or training.

Must have a valid driver's license.
