Job summary

Bradford Creek Golf Course, part of Troon, in Greenville, NC, is seeking a part-time Greenskeeper I for a seasonal 6-month assignment. The role includes mowing, irrigation, fertilization, sod laying, and general course maintenance.

Must have at least 2 years in golf maintenance and a valid driver’s license, with English reading/writing ability for manuals and customer interaction. The position offers $15.00 per hour with flexible hours to cover golf season and holidays, and benefits are

• 2 years of golf maintenance experience with additional experience in golf course irrigation.
• Valid Driver’s License
• Ability to read and speak English may be required in order to perform the duties of the job (e., the associates may be required to communicate with English speaking customers or co-workers, the manuals for the equipment the associates may use are in English)

Responsibilities

• Maintains clean and organized work areas on the golf course and maintenance facility.
• Mows greens, approaches, fairways, rough, tees and other areas
• Waters tees, greens and fairways; operates irrigation heads in dry areas needing additional water
• Repairs the irrigation system, pipes and irrigation heads as necessary
• Grades and prepares soil base, lays sod and seeds greens, tees and fairways
• Trims and prunes hedges and shrubbery; cleans flower beds
• Applies pesticides and fertilizer to the golf course
• Performs related duties as assigned by supervisor or manager

Bradford Creek Golf Course, located in Greenville, NC, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a part-time Greenskeeper I! We are seeking a motivated individual who is interested in contributing to a positive experience for our members and guests while continuing to grow their knowledge of golf club operations. As an associate of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.

Role Type:
Seasonal (Position will last 6 months or less)

Compensation:

$15.00 per hour

Schedule:

Ideal candidates have flexible schedules with availability to work extended hours during golf and holiday season, as needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintains clean and organized work areas on the golf course and maintenance facility
