Job summary

Discovery Land Company’s Gozzer Ranch is seeking a Greenskeeper to maintain pristine turf and deliver exceptional member experiences. You will operate greens, edges, bunkers, and assist with project work while upholding our high standards of hospitality and safety.

Responsibilities include daily maintenance, equipment fueling and reporting issues, adherence to uniform standards, and collaboration with the team to support a welcoming, well-maintained course for members and guests in the Coeur

Qualifications

• Knowledge of grounds and landscape construction/maintenance methods and materials.
• Proficient with hand and power tools and equipment.
• Able to operate trucks and light motorized equipment.
• Comply with Idaho State Health and Wellness regulations.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Able to work effectively with all personality types.
• Able to understand and carry-out verbal and written instructions independently.
• Able to perform basic mathematical calculations correctly.
• Able to work weekends, holidays, mornings, and nights.
• Able to work in all weather conditions and temperatures, indoors and outdoors.
• Able to perform light physical tasks, lifting up to 25 lbs frequently and up to 75 lbs occasionally.
• Able to grasp, lift, reach, crouch, walk, sit, and carry.
• Possession of a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Greet members and member guests upon arrival.
• Provide prompt and professional service and exceed expectations.
• Create 100% guest satisfaction with Gozzer brand hospitality.
• Take personal responsibility for member experience.
• Operate greens, aprons, fairways, tees and roughs.
• Edge, weed and rake bunkers; maintain readiness for golf daily.
• Fuel up equipment and report maintenance issues to supervisor.
• Maintain maintenance yard and equipment cleanliness.
• Water and fertilize turf as directed by supervisor.
• Set tee markers and change pin locations daily.
• Repair ball marks and fill divots on greens/tees/fairways.
• Assist in project work: greens/tees/fairways/bunkers; lay sod and seed surfaces.
• Install forms and lay walks using gravel/asphalt; repair irrigation plumbing.
• May operate dump trucks or other light equipment.
• Perform other duties as directed by supervisor.
• Communicate safety concerns to supervisor and follow up as needed.
