Job summary

Troon International, a global leader in golf and hospitality, is seeking a part-time greenskeeper at our Cincinnati area course for a seasonal role lasting six months or less. You will help maintain the course and practice area, assist with mowing, edging, and basic landscape tasks, and support daily operations to ensure a high-quality playing surface.

The ideal candidate is eager to learn, able to perform outdoor work, lift up to 50 pounds, and work in varying weather conditions.

• Outdoor work in a golf course environment; weather exposure.

Responsibilities

• Performs ground maintenance on greens, tees, fairways, and roughs.

• Performs snow/ice removal as needed.

California Golf Course, located in Cincinnati, OH, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a part‑time Greenskeeper! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast‑paced hospitality‑focused property organization. As part of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.

Role Type:

Seasonal (Position will last 6 months or less).

General Purpose:

Provides continuous maintenance for the course and/or range, including all landscaping activities and litter removal.

Key Responsibilities:

• Performs ground maintenance tasks, including mowing greens, tees, fairways, and roughs
• Operates motorized vehicles with standard transmissions safely
• Operates weed‑eaters and blowers
• Edges and trims; rakes bunkers
• Demonstrates advanced experience in setting cups and preparing the course for play
• Plants trees and shrubs; maintains flower beds; controls weeds and removes leaves
• Fertilizes and prunes trees and shrubs; cuts, rolls, lays, and waters sod; installs and maintains sand bunkers
• Performs trash and litter removal
• Performs light irrigation duties, including hand‑watering, cleaning heads, and making repairs
• Performs snow and ice removal
• Performs other duties as assigned
