Gertens Family of Businesses in Inver Grove Heights, MN, is seeking a Sales Representative for Greenhouse Production to build relationships with contractors and customers, provide expert product recommendations, and grow our greenhouse business through outstanding service. Ideal candidates have sales experience and industry knowledge in horticulture or greenhouse operations.

You will work Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m.

Qualifications

• Sales experience ideal; horticulture, greenhouse, or landscape knowledge is required.
• Completed High School Diploma, Associate degree in Horticulture, Plant Science or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with contractors and customers by providing outstanding service.
• Prepare quotes, process orders, and coordinate deliveries with operations and dispatch.
• Recommend products and solutions based on customer needs and project requirements.
• Visit customer job sites to support projects and identify new business opportunities.
• Maintain showroom displays and product knowledge.
• Resolve customer questions and concerns in a timely, professional manner.
• Support sales growth through account development, product promotions, and teamwork.
