Job summary

Qualifications

• High school graduation or GED with four years of plant research experience, including one year in managing a major farming operation.
• College training in one of the plant sciences may substitute for required experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and perform care of crops and plants for teaching, research, outreach, and display within UW Biology Greenhouse and interiorscape areas.
• Coordinate plant production according to instructional and research schedules.
• Train, lead, and direct staff, students, interns, and volunteers in greenhouse practices.
