Job summary

Flower World, Inc. is seeking an experienced, hands-on Greenhouse and Maintenance Construction Manager to lead a crew of up to 12 in a large greenhouse and nursery operation.

The role involves installing, maintaining and repairing pumps, irrigation systems, building and repairing plastic greenhouses, and operating farm equipment. You will work side-by-side with your crew, manage a fleet of about 30 vehicles, and keep projects moving while solving problems as they arise.

Qualifications

• Hands-on maintenance and construction experience.
• Comfortable operating heavy equipment and machinery.
• Ability to lead and manage a crew.

Responsibilities

• Lead and work alongside a crew of up to 12.
• Install, maintain and repair pumps and irrigation systems.
• Build and repair plastic greenhouses.
• Maintain and operate excavators, backhoes, dozers and farm equipment.
• Work with heating, cooling and boiler systems.
• Handle general construction, carpentry and mill operations.
• Manage maintenance and repairs for a 30-unit equipment fleet.
• Keep projects moving and solve problems as they arise.
