Job summary

Flower World, Inc. is seeking an experienced, hands-on Greenhouse and Maintenance Construction Manager to lead a crew of up to 12 in a large greenhouse and nursery operation.

The role involves installing, maintaining and repairing pumps, irrigation systems, building and repairing plastic greenhouses, and operating farm equipment. You will work side-by-side with your crew, manage a fleet of about 30 vehicles, and keep projects moving while solving problems as they arise.

Greenhouse and Maintenance Construction Manager

Are you the person everyone calls when something breaks?
Can you run a crew, operate heavy equipment, fix pumps, build and repair greenhouses, troubleshoot a boiler—and still like getting your hands dirty? We are looking for an experienced, hands-on Maintenance & Construction Manager to join our large greenhouse and nursery operation.

This is a working manager position overseeing a crew of up to 12 people and a fleet of approximately 30 vehicles and equipment units.

What you will do:

• Lead and work alongside a crew of up to 12
• Install, maintain and repair pumps and irrigation systems
• Build and repair plastic greenhouses
• Maintain and operate excavators, backhoes, dozers and farm equipment
• Work with heating, cooling and boiler systems
• Handle general construction, carpentry and mill operations
• Manage maintenance and repairs for a 30-unit equipment fleet
• Keep projects moving and solve problems as they arise

You should be:

• Highly experienced with hands-on maintenance and construction
• Comfortable operating heavy equipment
• Mechanically inclined and a good problem solver
• Experienced leading a crew
• Dependable, organized and safety-minded
• Willing to work alongside your crew. This is NOT supervising from a desk

Compensation Package:

• Up to $10,000 per month salary
• 3-bedroom home provided — $3,000/month rental value
• Paid Time Off
