Job summary

Mastronardi Produce Ltd. seeks a Greenhouse Lead to supervise employees, train team members, and ensure high-quality, efficient production. The role focuses on maintaining greenhouse aesthetics, safety, and adherence to food-safety guidelines under the Mastronardi values.

The Greenhouse Lead will conduct regular one-on-one coaching, track progress, escalate issues to Labor Supervisors/Manager, and ensure compliance with all site standards. Prior leadership is preferred.

Job description

The Greenhouse Lead is responsible for ensuring that Greenhouse employees are trained and able to produce quality results efficiently. The Greenhouse Lead is accountable for the overall aesthetics of the greenhouse.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Keep employees motivated by supervising and assisting them when needed.
• Spending one on one time with employees to ensure that greenhouse standards are met.
• Record work progress and report to Supervisors/Labor Manager as required.
• Walk greenhouse rows to ensure that work is being done properly and safety guidelines are followed.
• Report any issues to management as necessary.
• Be familiar with and enforce all food safety guidelines within the greenhouse.
• Escalate employee issues to the Labor Supervisors/Manager as needed.
• Prior leadership experience is preferred.

Working Conditions:

• Greenhouse Environment, where the temperature averages 70 F and background noise approaches 70 dcbs.
