Responsibilities

• Watering plants and maintaining proper hydration.
• Weeding and grooming plants to keep them healthy and tidy.
• Repotting plants as necessary to support growth.
• General office/administrative tasks such as filing, copying, and answering phones.
• Assist professors with lab prep, cleanup, and student experiments.

Position Overview

To fulfill the goal of students learning while serving and developing leadership skills. To train students in the skills and techniques they will encounter in various biological careers. To prepare future graduates with integrity, responsibility, collaboration and communication skills, critical thinking, and the professionalism required for the field of Biology. To aid in the daily functioning of the campus greenhouse, herbarium museum, and maintenance of plant specimens. To aid professors in lab prep, lab cleanup, and assisting students with experiments.

Key Responsibilities

Rate of Pay

$10.00 an hour.
