Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. seeks an experienced Director of Environmental Health and Safety to lead EHS for a new aerospace fastener manufacturing Greenfield site.

You will shape environmental, health, and safety strategies, embed EHS into design, and drive regulatory compliance. You will report to the VP/GM and collaborate with engineering, operations, HR, and supply chain to build a strong safety culture and scalable EMS across startup and ramp-up stages.

Qualifications

• Experience leading EHS programs in aerospace manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of OSHA/EPA/DOT regulations and compliance programs.
• Proven ability to manage and develop EHS professionals.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive environmental strategies across the site.
• Lead health and safety programs, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, HR, and supply chain to embed EHS into design and ramp-up.
• Oversee permitting, reporting, and environmental management systems (ISO 14001).
• Directly supervise EHS team and coach staff for performance and growth.
