Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. is seeking a proactive Director of Environmental Health and Safety to lead EHS at a new aerospace fastener manufacturing Greenfield site.

You will shape strategy, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive safety and sustainability culture across design, construction, and ramp-up. You will oversee a small EHS team, collaborate with engineering, operations, HR, and supply chain, and report to the VP/GM with corporate interfaces.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of environmental compliance, hazardous materials handling, and industrial hygiene.
• Experience with aerospace manufacturing regulations and best practices.
• Proven ability to lead EHS programs in Greenfield or high-growth environments.
• Demonstrated project management skills including planning, execution, and stakeholder communication.
• Experience developing and mentoring EHS professionals.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute an environmental strategy aligned with regulations.
• Lead environmental planning including emissions control, water conservation, waste management, and energy efficiency.
• Oversee permitting processes and environmental reporting.
• Embed sustainability goals into facility design and operations.
• Lead and develop a small EHS team with coaching and performance management.
• Collaborate with engineering, construction, and operations to integrate EHS into startup and ramp-up.
