Job summary

McAdams is seeking a Project Manager for its Green Stormwater Infrastructure Practice in North Carolina. You will lead stormwater projects from concept through construction, manage client relationships, coordinate with staff and subconsultants, and ensure timely, quality deliverables.

The role requires 7+ years in water resources or GSI, with AutoCAD and H+H modeling experience. You will mentor junior staff and contribute to innovative environmental protection strategies.

Qualifications

• Four-year bachelor’s degree from an accredited program in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Biological and Agricultural Engineering, Civil Engineering Technology, or related field.
• 7+ years of design experience in water resources, civil engineering or GSI.
• Experience with AutoCAD, hydrograph routing and H+H modeling; understanding of stormwater regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee stormwater projects from concept to construction administration, serving as primary client contact.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships, manage expectations, and identify opportunities for repeat business.
• Oversee and mentor project teams, coordinating with design staff, subconsultants, and other team members.
