Job summary

McAdams is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to lead stormwater and civil site design efforts within our Raleigh-area team. The role emphasizes delivering high-quality reports, plans, and analyses while adhering to McAdams standards and improving engineering practices.

You will collaborate with Project Managers and technical staff to manage schedules, budgets, and client expectations, providing mentorship to junior engineers and coordinating with stakeholders for successful project outcomes.

Qualifications

• Four-year bachelor's degree from an accredited program or related field is required.
• EI required; PE or on track to obtaining PE strongly preferred.
• Minimum 7+ years' experience in civil site design or related field.
• Demonstrated expertise in AutoCAD Civil 3D is essential.
• Strong understanding of local, state, and federal regulations related to land development.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and track schedules and budgets.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for coordination with teams and clients.

Responsibilities
