Job Description

Green Meadow Elementary School is looking for a full-time building substitute. This position works Monday - Friday, in accordance with the Maynard Public Schools calendar. The day starts at 8:15 AM and ends at 2:50 PM, with a 30 minute lunch.

A Building Substitute Teacher's job is to provide continuous instructional and non-instructional support within a single school building, covering absent teachers, assisting with various school needs, and maintaining a safe and positive learning environment. Duties include delivering lesson plans, managing classrooms, supervising students, and fulfilling other assigned tasks, often with a more consistent schedule and potential for higher pay than daily substitutes. This role requires flexibility to adapt to different subjects, grade levels, and tasks as needed throughout the school day.

This position is best suited for applicants who:
