The role emphasizes green infrastructure and stormwater management for municipal clients, with strong knowledge of regulations and design. The position offers work on high-impact public infrastructure to improve water quality, reduce flooding, and strengthen community resilience across New York.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental or Civil Engineering or closely related field.
• Minimum 4 years of engineering experience.
• Experience with green infrastructure and stormwater management.
• Experience preparing technical reports, calculations and design plans.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, review, and manage green infrastructure and stormwater projects.
• Prepare engineering reports, technical specifications, calculations, and construction documents.
• Coordinate with clients, regulatory agencies, subconsultants, and project teams.
• Support permitting with NYCDEP, NYSDEC, USACE, and local municipalities.
• Perform field investigations, site inspections, and construction support.
• Review plans to ensure compliance with standards and regulations.
• Assist with scheduling, budgeting, and QA/QC.
