Job summary

Stumptown Coffee is seeking a Green Coffee Handler to join the Roasting Department. You will coordinate with Demand Planning, stage green coffees by recipe, and assist with loading and receiving green coffee while ensuring safety and inventory accuracy.

Cross-functional collaboration and ERP workflow updates are essential. You will work in a fast-paced environment with exposure to hot roasting equipment and a strong emphasis on GMP compliance and sanitation.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively and positively with others in a team.
• Ability to lift 75 pounds and maneuver 150 lbs regularly.
• Read and follow written instructions accurately.
• Work independently with minimal supervision and take initiative to complete tasks.
• Experience with Microsoft D365, Cropster and Google Suite is a plus.
• Prior forklift, pallet-jack, and reach stacker experience preferred.
• Valid driver license with clean record preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Demand Planner to align daily workflow and modify work orders in D365.
• Portion out and stage green coffees per recipe for daily/weekly roasting needs.
• Assist in loading green coffee into roasting machines following safety procedures.
• Receive and verify green coffee deliveries, maintain inventory accuracy.
• Maintain storage areas, perform FIFO, and log updates in recipe systems.
• Engage in sanitation and GMP-compliant housekeeping and preventive maintenance.
• Log work hours accurately and communicate with cross-functional teams as needed.
