Job summary

Leprino Foods seeks a GRD Operator Trainee for our Lubbock, TX facility. This entry-level role trains on the GRD system, focusing on safe operation, process control, and quality verification. Upon successful training, you may advance to the GRD Operator position.

You will learn startup/shutdown checklists, sanitation records, and CIP procedures while contributing to food safety and regulatory compliance in a fast-paced dairy environment.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older.
• Ability to read, write, and comprehend basic English.
• Ability to perform basic math and apply SOPs.
• Willingness to work 12-hour shifts in a 24/7 plant.

Responsibilities

• Operate the GRD system per SOPs and monitor temperature, auger speeds, and product consistency.
• Assist with equipment shutdown and CIP preparation.
• Verify blend accuracy and ensure pallets are properly produced and dispositioned.
• Troubleshoot equipment and communicate issues to leads.
• Complete startup/shutdown checklists and sanitation records.
• Follow safety, GMP, and SOP requirements and maintain equipment cleanliness.
