Job summary

Alignerr Corp. is seeking a Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) Analyst to help build and evaluate AI systems that reason about security, compliance, and risk. This remote hourly contract role offers flexible hours and 10-40 hours per week.

You will review policies, map controls to frameworks, and generate training data to train AI models on GRC reasoning. Strong writing and self-directed work in a async environment are essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in GRC, compliance, risk management, or information security.
• Familiar with one or more major frameworks: SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST CSF, PCI-DSS, or similar.
• Comfortable reading, interpreting, and critiquing policy and audit-style documentation.
• Detail-oriented with strong written communication skills.
• Self-directed and reliable in an asynchronous remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze security policies, controls, and procedures for accuracy and completeness.
• Evaluate compliance scenarios across frameworks like SOC 2, ISO 27001, and NIST.
• Assess risk statements, control mappings, and audit-style documentation.
• Generate and validate training data used to teach AI systems how GRC reasoning works.
• Provide structured, precise written feedback on AI-generated compliance content.
