Job summary

Allied Universal in San Clemente, CA seeks a Security Officer Patrol Community Homes to safeguard clients across utilities locations. You will conduct routine unarmed patrols, monitor access, and provide courteous service while upholding site procedures.

This full-time graveyard position offers a pay rate of $23.69 per hour with a night schedule Sunday through Thursday. Applicants must meet minimum requirements, including age and licensing, and will undergo background checks and a drug screen.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Guard Card or license preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background investigation required.
• Drug screen required.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and utility operations personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of utility facilities, buildings, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to assigned locations, verify authorization as directed, and maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Report maintenance concerns, hazardous conditions, and security-related issues observed during patrols to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
