Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer for a gated community in Newport Beach, CA. You will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access and provide excellent resident and visitor service on a full-time graveyard shift.

Responsibilities include patrolling, reporting incidents, and enforcing community policies while upholding a welcoming, secure environment. Ideal candidates have security experience, CPR/First Aid preferred, and a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and vendors by carrying out access control procedures and site-specific policies.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and vendor authorization, issue and collect access credentials, and maintain entry records.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner following residential procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of residential areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
• Communicate observations and maintenance-related concerns to appropriate personnel and complete reports.
