Job summary

Gossner Foods, Inc. in Utah Logan seeks a Mixing Operator to operate equipment in the Mixing Department, batch and standardize products, and complete production documentation in a fast-paced dairy environment.

You will learn CIP procedures, assist with training, and help maintain a clean, safe workspace while supporting the production team on graveyard shift (12:00 AM–8:30 AM) with pay starting at $20.90 per hour, with potential to reach $24.40 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Must be dependable and able to maintain consistent attendance.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Must be able to perform physical duties in a manufacturing environment.
• Candidates must complete required pre-employment background check, drug screening, and physical fitness testing.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor all equipment within the Mixing Department.
• Prepare, batch, and standardize products according to production specifications.
• Accurately complete required production, batching, and quality documentation.
• Perform manual equipment cleaning and automated Clean-in-Place (CIP) procedures.
• Obtain raw milk samples for quality testing.
• Weigh and prepare ingredients for batches under the direction of the Assistant Supervisor.
• Monitor equipment and product conditions and report abnormalities or concerns.
• Follow all food safety, GMP, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
• Assist with training new employees on Mixing Department procedures and equipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Assist other team members as needed to support production.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
