Job summary

Rise Services, Inc. in Lake Havasu City is hiring Direct Support Professional Drivers for a graveyard shift (Fri–Sun).

You will assist people with transportation, daily living tasks, hygiene, meal prep and behavioral supports, acting as a respectful, safety-focused role model. The role requires a current Arizona driver’s license, clean driving record, CPR/First Aid certification, and the ability to follow policies, complete training, and maintain paperwork.

Qualifications

• Experience and education in the field of developmental disabilities or related field preferred.
• Must be over twenty-one (21) years to drive a Rise vehicle and meet other requirements as specified by the Rise Insurance Agency.
• Must have a current and clear Arizona State Driver’s license.
• Supply Rise with a current motor vehicle record for the past three years from the AZ Motor Vehicle Division or Navajo Nation Driving Record if employed within Navajo Nation.
• Must have verbal and written communication skills adequate to the specific job.
• Satisfactory background check and obtain Level One Fingerprint Card clearance.
• Specific language abilities (other than English) may be required to meet the needs of people/families receiving support.
• Reliable transportation to the work site and access to a telephone.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance to people receiving support through transportation, mobility, daily living, hygiene, meal prep, and behavioral supports.
• Demonstrate respect and promote choice.
• Promote the rights of people receiving support and maintain an environment free of abuse, neglect, and exploitation.
• Follow RISE policies and complete required documentation.
• Drive as a designated driver on shift and respond to transportation needs promptly.
• Attend staff meetings and mandatory training.
