Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a warehouse or dock role preferred.
• Ability to operate forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Must maintain safety and wear PPE.
• Physically capable of lifting heavy freight.
• Familiarity with OSHA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight using forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Organize freight by destination and method to streamline dispatch.
• Record shipment details accurately (quantity, weight, destination).
• Follow safety protocols and report hazards or incidents.
• Operate and maintain material handling equipment; perform routine checks.
• Coordinate with drivers and terminal staff for timely freight movement.
• Inspect freight for damage or discrepancies and report issues.
• Maintain inventory records and perform cycle counts.
