Job summary

Snowbird's Cliff Lodge in Utah is seeking a Night Bell/Valet to assist guests with luggage, shuttle guests, park and retrieve vehicles, and provide friendly service during overnight hours. You will answer calls, maintain bell desk logs, and help with snow removal as needed in a fast-paced, outdoor resort environment.

Requirements include a High School diploma, 1–2 years related experience, the ability to lift 75 lbs, stand for long periods, and a valid driver's license with a clean driving

• 1-2 years of job-specific work experience with demonstrated competence.

Snowbird is a unique resort with distinct summer and winter seasons and offers full-time, part-time and seasonal positions. **TITLE:** Graveyard Bell/Valet**LOCATION:** Cliff Lodge at Snowbird**STATUS:**Part-time, Seasonal**SCHEDULE:** Overnight shifts* *Must be 21+ with a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.** *Specific Shifts: Must be available any day of the week, flexible schedule between 11 PM – 7 AM. Full-time 4 days a week.* **SUMMARY**As a Night Bell/Valet under the direction of Bell Captain you will assist guests with luggage and transportation needs, monitor bell storage, shuttle guests around resort in company vehicles, park and retrieve guests’ vehicles, answers guests’ questions, and directs traffic. **WHAT YOU’LL DO*** Escort incoming hotel guests to rooms and assist with luggage. Ensure that luggage is safe and not left unattended. Ensure that luggage is placed in the cart properly and handled with care. Deliver luggage to guestrooms within 15 minutes of guest arrival.* Arrive to the guestroom to collect luggage within 8 minutes of the guest’s call when the guest is departing. Understand and adhere to procedure of master key usage.* Be visible and available in the lobby to assist guests when required. Ensure guest name usage whenever possible. Maintain eye contact with guests. Assist in keeping the work area neat and clean. Provide valet service for guests by parking and retrieving vehicles and directing traffic.* Answer the telephone within 4 rings with a clear and audible greeting and close the conversation with a pleasant final remark. Keep a record of calls for service (check-in, check-out, miscellaneous). Assist in accurate maintenance of bell desk log sheets.* Consistently demonstrate personal guest service excellence. Be an ambassador for the hotel when in contact with guests. Maintain a high level of professionalism in all aspects of job performance.* Snow Removal - Responsible for shoveling snow and salting walkways and parking areas. Assisting with lot clearings as necessary.* Shuttle Runs* Travel: Occasional trips to Salt Lake Valley. **WHAT YOU NEED TO GET THE JOB DONE*** High School Diploma or equivalent required.* 1-2 years of job-specific work experience with demonstrated competence.* Must be at least 21 years of age.* Valid Driver License w/ Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).* Able to read, write, and communicate through speech.
