Job summary

Clarios, Canby, OR, is seeking a Machine Operator for graveyard shift to operate semi-automated production machines in a fast-paced automotive battery manufacturing environment.

You will perform machine adjustments, troubleshoot issues, and conduct quality checks while maintaining production schedules. Ability to work long shifts and weekends, and comply with safety and PPE requirements is required.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of assembly or similar experience in manufacturing environment preferred.
• Basic computer, reading, writing and math skills.
• Ability to work daily overtime up to 12 hours and weekends as needed.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and work in an industrial environment.
• Ability to wear required PPE.
• Successful completion of pre-employment background check, physical, drug screen, and employment eligibility verification

Responsibilities

• Operate semi-automated production machines to manufacture automotive batteries in a fast-paced environment.
• Make machine adjustments, troubleshoot equipment issues, and perform operator preventative maintenance.
• Conduct visual inspections and required quality checks.
• Operate pallet jacks.
• Maintain schedule and inventory accuracy, keep accurate records of production and defects.
• Follow all safety, quality, environmental, and production standards
