Job summary

Calbee North America is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic 2 for the Boardman, Oregon facility. The role operates on a Sunday-Thursday graveyard shift (10:45 PM–7:00 AM) and requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to safety, and the ability to read and follow complex work orders.

The candidate will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot equipment, and work with CMMS/Megamation to ensure 94% or better work orders completion.

Qualifications

• Must read and write English.
• Must be a clear communicator.
• Must have basic math skills.
• Must know their way around a computer, Outlook, Word, CMMS.
• Knowledge of welding processes (MIG, TIG, ARC).
• Must operate a lift truck within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain equipment on a GMP-compliant production line.
• Complete shift rounds and interpret readings.
• Maintain and update PMs and work orders in Megamation with 94% accuracy or better.
• Ensure safe and efficient plant operation and join in PSM/RM activities.
• Assist in the setup and commissioning of plant equipment during production runs.
