Job summary

Working Families Party is seeking a field-organizing professional to help build grassroots infrastructure in Dayton and Cincinnati. You will support legislative and electoral campaigns, cultivate relationships with activists and leaders, and organize phone banking, canvassing, and outreach events.

The role is a full-time temporary position through November 19, 2026, remote with in-person meetings in the assigned regions, and an equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of organizing experience.
• Excellent communication and leadership development skills.
• Experience with tools like Spoke, Slack, Mobilize, and Action Network.

Responsibilities

• Help build grassroots base and organizing operation in Dayton and Cincinnati.
• Support legislative, policy, and electoral campaigns.
• Build relationships with activists, members, and leaders.
• Organize phone banking, text banking, canvassing, and postcarding events.
• Identify volunteer team needs and recruit members and activists.
