Job summary

Pennsylvania Democratic Party is seeking a full-time Constituency Organizer to build grassroots turnout in Harrisburg, PA. The role focuses on coalition engagement, volunteer management, and direct voter contact to support Democrats statewide in 2026.

The organizer will work in a field office, travel within the assigned turf, and participate in events such as canvasses and community meetings. Flexible, data-savvy candidates with strong organizational skills are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Ability to track and report data in a timely, consistent, and accurate manner.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Proven ability to create a motivating, inclusive, and accountable team culture.
• Fluency with NGP VAN and familiarity with modern data and digital organizing tools are a plus.
• Willingness and ability to work full-time in a field office and travel within the assigned region.
• Work hours will vary from standard office hours and include weekends.
• Access to a reliable vehicle and cell phone.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with coalitions partners, community leaders, advocacy organizations, and constituency groups.
• Build grassroots support by reaching out to and persuading voters directly through door-to-door canvassing, phonebanking, and other direct voter contact (DVC) tactics.
• Recruit, manage, and train a diverse team of volunteers in designated turfs across Pennsylvania.
• Staff and or attend events that include but are not limited to: in-person canvasses, phonebanks, and community meetings.
• Help create a program that reflects the needs of local communities in your assigned organizing region.
• Other responsibilities as assigned.
